South Western Ambulance Service is committed to being an employer of choice, offering good working conditions and wide ranging training and development opportunities. We employ over 2000 staff. Over 80% of our staff work on direct patient related duties providing:
 

• out of hospital care and transportation
• transport to individuals who are unable for medical reasons to make their own way to hospital. This is generally non-emergency work including admissions and discharges from hospital and attendance at out-patient clinics
