Responder Schemes

Staff First Responders

Staff First RespondersOff duty ambulance service staff also respond as First Responders.

These include Officers, Emergency Care Practitioners, Paramedics, Technicians, Ambulance Care Assistants, Control room staff, administrative and other support staff.

They offer intervention to patients of all types of category emergency calls to their clinical abilities with the equipment they carry.

Pictured is the launch of staff First Responders in Cornwall, with Automatic External Defibrillators and equipment donated by the British Heart Foundation and the FLEET charity.
